Great, I was thinking the other day that what Jaiku feels kind of empty without Irish developers, and 20 should definitely do the trick :)
Let's keep this strictly between us, but for some reason my wife is still teasing me about an incident that happened 10 years ago in a pub (luckily in London and not in Ireland): I wanted to demonstrate her that I know my beers and ordered "Two pints of Guinness... or any other good lager."
Later in Dublin I had learned my lesson and ordered just a Guinness (i.e. the word "lager" was not mentioned). However, it took so long for the bartender to pull the beer that I tried to start drinking it 2-3 times during the process. (Why the heck was the beer kept on the table in front of me?) The expression on bartender's face was quite memorable.
Anyway, it is great to have new Jaiku users from Ireland!

So will it prompt a wholesale defection of people to Jaiku? I wonder. A lot depends, I guess, on what's rolling out with this upgrade.

Twitter's only advantage is the time it had to gain ground before Jaiku. Without threaded conversation it needs, and is asking, to die.
